The Han Lab in the Department of Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center studies the molecular mechanisms of muscular dystrophies and associated cardiomyopathy using the latest molecular, biochemical and cell biological approaches in cell culture and animal models (mice and rabbits). We are also interested in developing novel genome editing therapeutic strategies to treat these genetic diseases (Circulation Research 2017; Molecular Therapy, 2019; Nature Communications, 2021). We are actively looking for highly motivated young scientists with creativity to join us.
